Mark

Mark is committed to providing dynamic dance classes and monthly dance events for dancers of all levels.

Mark started dancing Leroc Modern Jive in 2008 with an 8-week beginners course. He then continued dancing locally and ultimately crewed for several local operators.

After teaching informally since 2017, Mark became a qualified teacher under the LeRoc Modern Jive Federation in 2022. He subsequently gained full membership in November 2024.

In January 2023 he decided to open his own venue under the Jive Frenzy banner with a vision to offer top-notch instruction in a welcoming and supportive setting.

Having grown rapidly in its first two years, serving a diverse clientele, Leroc Sussex is the next step to enrich the dance journeys of beginners, seasoned dancers, and everyone in between.

When looking for a new hobby in 2018, it was a choice between Modern Jive and Salsa on the same night. Luckily for us, she chose Modern Jive…

Teresa started dancing as a way of getting out and meeting new people as well as learning a new hobby.

When normal classes resumed after the pandemic in 2022, she became the regular demo partner with Mark and was instrumental in helping setup the dance classes in Worthing.

She has flourished as a dancer and now competes with Mark in the World Modern Jive Championships and International Open Modern Jive Championships.
